Chin Liposuction With a Chin Implant or Neck Lift: When to Combine
Many patients who come to me for a double chin expect liposuction alone to fix their profile. Often it does. But in some patients, the fullness under the chin is only part of the problem. In those cases, combining liposuction with another procedure gives a much better result in one operation.
Liposuction alone: when it is enough

Liposuction + chin implant: for a weak chin
A chin that sits back makes the neck look shorter and the area under the chin look fuller, even with little fat. If I see this in your side profile, I may suggest adding a chin implant.
• The implant brings the chin forward and makes the jawline longer and more defined.
• Both procedures can be done in the same session, often through the same small incision under the chin.
• Recovery is only slightly longer than with liposuction alone.

Liposuction + neck lift: for loose skin
As we age, the skin of the neck loosens and the neck muscles can form visible bands. Liposuction removes fat, but it cannot remove excess skin. If your skin is loose, a neck lift tightens the skin and muscles, while liposuction removes fat at the same time.

Liposuction + Endolift: for mild laxity
