Op. Dr. Akın Şahin is a facial plastic surgeon based in Istanbul, Turkey, and a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery. He holds both the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery (EBEORL-HNS) certification and the Turkish Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery certification, and he is a full member of the Facial Plastic Surgery Association. Having performed more than 4,000 surgical procedures, he has extensive experience across the full range of facial surgery, including otoplasty (ear aesthetics), buccal fat removal (cheek contouring), rhinoplasty (nose aesthetics), face and neck lift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and ear reshaping.
