Lip Lift Cost UK vs Turkey (2026): Prices Compared

A lip lift has become one of the most requested facial procedures in recent years, especially among patients who are tired of repeated lip fillers. Many of my international patients come from the UK, and one of their first questions is how much they can save by having their lip lift in Istanbul. In this article, I compare the lip lift cost in the UK and Turkey in 2026 and explain what to consider beyond the price.

How Much Does a Lip Lift Cost in the UK?

In the UK, a lip lift is performed privately. Prices vary by clinic and city, but London clinics commonly publish prices of around:

  • Corner lip lift: about £2,500–£3,500
  • Bullhorn (subnasal) lip lift: about £3,500–£4,500
  • Bullhorn plus corner lip lift: about £4,500–£5,500

When a lip lift is combined with other surgery, such as rhinoplasty or a facelift, prices are considerably higher. Consultation fees, follow-up appointments and scar treatments may or may not be included.

How Much Does a Lip Lift Cost in Turkey?

At my practice in Istanbul, the lip lift cost in Turkey in 2026 ranges from $1,200 to $2,800, depending on the technique and whether other procedures are combined. The price includes:

  • Surgeon’s fee and local anaesthesia
  • Medication and dressings
  • Follow-up visits and stitch removal
  • Optional hotel accommodation and private transfers in package options
  • Direct contact with me by WhatsApp

Lip Lift Cost Comparison at a Glance

  • UK (London): Bullhorn lip lift commonly around £3,500–£4,500.
  • Turkey (my practice): $1,200–$2,800, with package options including hotel and transfers.
  • Extra costs for Turkey: Flights and about 5–7 days in Istanbul.

For most UK patients, even after adding flights, a lip lift in Istanbul costs significantly less.

Why Is a Lip Lift Cheaper in Turkey?

The difference mainly reflects lower operating costs, lower staff and facility costs and the exchange rate in Turkey. A bullhorn lip lift is also usually performed under local anaesthesia, which avoids the cost of general anaesthesia and a hospital stay. The surgical principles, the sterile environment and the care required are the same.

What Matters More Than Price

The scar beneath the nose is what patients worry about most, and rightly so. The quality of the scar depends on:

  • Precise measurement: Removing the right amount of skin, usually 3–7 mm, so the lip is lifted without being over-shortened.
  • Correct incision design: Following the natural curve of the nostril base.
  • Deep anchoring: Securing the lip muscle to the deep tissue, so there is no tension on the skin.
  • Fine closure and aftercare: Delicate sutures and proper scar care.

When choosing a surgeon, look at before and after photos of the scar months after surgery, not just immediately. I explain scar healing in detail in my article lip lift scar: what to expect.

Is a Lip Lift Right for You?

A lip lift is suitable if your upper lip is long, usually more than 15–18 mm from the nose to the lip border, and you show little or no upper teeth at rest. If your philtrum is short, fillers may be a better option. If you are not sure, read lip filler vs lip lift, or see my lip filler cost in Turkey page.

How Long Do You Need to Stay in Istanbul?

Most patients stay 5–7 days, until the stitches are removed. The procedure itself takes 45–90 minutes under local anaesthesia, and you return to your hotel the same day. You can read the full recovery timeline in lip lift recovery day by day.

Hidden Costs to Ask About

When comparing quotes, ask whether the price includes:

  • Consultation and pre-operative assessment
  • Local anaesthesia or sedation
  • Stitch removal and follow-up visits
  • Medication and scar care products
  • A revision policy

A clear, written quote should list all of these. I provide a written quote after assessing your photos.
