Chin Liposuction Cost: UK vs Turkey (2026 Price Comparison)
Many of my international patients come from the UK. Most of them first ask the same question: “Why is chin liposuction so much cheaper in Turkey, and is it really the same operation?” In this guide I compare the real costs and explain what you should check before booking anywhere.
How much does chin liposuction cost in the UK?
In private UK clinics, chin (submental) liposuction typically costs around £3,000 to £6,000 for the procedure alone. Consultation fees, compression garments and follow-up visits are often charged separately. On the NHS, chin liposuction is considered cosmetic and is generally not available.
How much does it cost in Turkey?

Even after adding flights, the total cost in Turkey is usually well below the UK price for the procedure alone.
Why is it cheaper in Turkey?
The lower price is not a sign of a different operation. It reflects lower operating costs, clinic rent, staff wages and the exchange rate. The technique I use, fine micro-cannulas through a tiny incision under the chin, is the same method used in the UK.
What should you check before booking?
A low price only makes sense if the surgeon is qualified. Before booking in any country, ask:
1. Who will operate? Make sure you know your surgeon’s name, not just the clinic’s.
2. What is their specialty? Head and neck surgeons and facial plastic surgeons work in this anatomy every day. I am a European Board certified ENT, head & neck and facial plastic surgeon.
3. What exactly is included? Ask for a written list: surgery, anaesthesia, garment, medication, check-ups.
4. How is aftercare handled once you are home? I follow up with my patients by WhatsApp and photos after they return home.
Is the trip worth it?
